About

One artist. One way of drawing.

Melange draws every piece around wave motion and blue, so a dragon on a forearm and a koi on a shoulder still read as the same hand.

Reference images are a starting point, never something to copy. Each design is redrawn for the shape and movement of the body part it's going on.

Process

How a piece gets made

  1. 01

    Consult

    Send your idea, placement, size and a photo of the area. You get back the scope and a price.

  2. 02

    Deposit

    A deposit locks in your date and comes off the final price. It isn't refundable.

  3. 03

    Design

    The design is drawn after booking and sent to you 2–3 days before your appointment. Parts that follow the body are finished freehand on the day.

  4. 04

    Session

    On the day, the design is fitted to your body and you check it together before anything starts.

Before you ask

How much does it cost?

It depends on size, placement and detail. You get a quote after your first message, before any deposit.

Is the deposit refundable?

No. It secures your date and is taken off the final price.

Can I see the design before the session?

Yes. The design is drawn after booking and sent to you 2–3 days before your appointment. On the day, it's fitted to your body and you check it together before the tattoo starts.

Where is the studio?

Melange is based in South Korea and travels for guest spots. The exact address is shared once your booking is confirmed.

Can you copy a tattoo I found online?

No. A reference is welcome as a starting point, but every piece is redrawn in Melange's own line and color.
